OUR WORK
The 10-story building located in heart of Canary Wharf required the replacement of the primary CHW plant whilst also keeping the system live to meet the cooling demand of the existing tenants.
The works involved the careful planning and phasing of the installation to ensure the continuous operation of the CHW systems. Our works included the complete decommissioning, de-gassing, craneage and replacement of the existing chillers, CHW pumps, pressurisation units and associated pipework.
We also carried out the necessary builders work to accommodate the new chillers including modifications to the electrical mains power distribution, BMS controls wiring and associated interlocks with pumps and the new chiller sequence panel.
